EtownIndia Receives Angel Funding from Blu Venture Investors

Bangalore: Indian online classified website etownindia.com has received angel investment worth $250,000 in form of seed capital. The source of investment comes from Pradeep Wahi, Kim Larson & Lance Ullom, who are all the part of the Blu Venture Investors. The investors have also promised another $350,000 fund to the startup, as reported by Watblog.

EtownIndia caters online classifieds to the business to business companies, generally covering the establishments in the tier 2 and tier 3 cities and small town of the country. It also designs online portfolio of these companies along with web pages, images and database of contact details.

“Owned by Etown India Services, etownindia.com is an online listing platform for businesses in various categories such as schools, colleges, jewelry stores, apparel stores and departmental stores. Companies that are interested in getting listed on Etown need to pay an annual subscription fee, and can opt for one of the different packages available,” reported buzzom.com.

The company founded by Janardhanan S operates its portal in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. It employs 111 staffs who are organized to market and gather data from small businesses and operations around these states.
