Bangalore: Jaipur based Intel Labs Pvt. Ltd which runs a language learning platform called CultureAlley.com has received an undisclosed investment from Mumbai based Kae Capital. The procured funding will be used by the company for its overall product development reports Live Mint.

The year old startup was launched in November 2012 by Nishant Patni. The website enables interactive language learning through self paced audio visual lessons helping one to learn any language possible. The platform currently claims to have 100, 000 users across 210 nations.

“There are a lot of tutors but there is a huge lack in quality content for language learning,” says Pranshu Bhandari, the co-founder of CultureAlley.com. The website offers trained coaches and professionals on one-to-one basis. There are five free self study modules available and an advanced interactive self study that is priced at $4.99.

Kae Capital was founded by Sasha Mirchandani. It started investing last year and is found to have funded another education firm which is not known. According to Mirchandani,“The pain point is huge and global. For us, monetization is not the most important aspect, huge traction is more important currently.”
