Cloud Security Startup, CipherGraph Raises Funding from Chamath Palihapitiya

Bangalore: Bangalore based Cloud Security Startup – Cipergraph has raised an undisclosed amount from Chamath Palihapitiya. The undisclosed amount will be used to strengthen the technology and strenthen the talent.

Founded by Jitendra Sharan , CiperGraph Network provides enterprise cloud security solutions, focusing on cloud security and accessibility. Sharan paid attention to his idea and grew it into a company single handedly. CiperGraph also got selected among one of the 11 startups for the Microsoft Accelerator for Windows Azure.

Chamath Palihapitiya of Social+Capital Partnership recently invested in Ezetap, which make portable Point of Sale device. Prior to this, Chamath was responsible for overseeing Facebook Platform as well as launching Facebook’s online advertising channel. Chamath joined Facebook from The Mayfield Fund, a leading venture capital firm in Silicon Valley where he was focused on consumer Internet, advertising and technology investments. CiperGraph is Chamath’s second investment in India.

In the cloud space, Indian Angel Network recently invested an undisclosed amount in Aurus Network which is a cloud based platform for video creation, management and distribution in the educational space.
