Chennai Is Next On Startup Radar

Bangalore: City of temples and tradition as they call. Chennai is on the radar for being the second only to Bangalore for starting up a new business venture. The city known as a manufacturing hub is now grabbing the attention of people who are looking to invest and start something innovative, reports The Financial Express.

Chennai known for its film frenzy atmosphere is making news for the liking shown by some big names like Zoho Corp, OrangeScape, InterviewStreet, Extragram, Freshdesk, Tenmiles Corporation, Unmetric, and Xlabz Technologies.

V Chandrasekaran, vice-president of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Chennai, and co-founder and COO of Secova, says entering into a new place with market knowledge will have an edge over the competitors rather than the place which is already saturating. “Chennai is a natural preference for the next generation of companies in software products and innovation,” he adds.
