Bangalore: For those who really did not know the story of ‘Valentine’s Day’; the very name of this ‘lovely’ day was derived from a priest, Saint Valentine of Rome who sacrificed his life for protecting young lovers from an emperor, Claudias who prohibited the marriage of young people. In one of his final notes before decapitation on February 14, 269 AD, he had written "Love from your Valentine," and thus ‘Valentine’s Day was born, marking respect and tribute to this saint who stood for love.

You might be curious to know, what do India’s young and energetic entrepreneurs, think on the concept of love and Valentine’s Day. Undoubtedly, there is a lot of love, passion and dedication in entrepreneurship and these young people are proving it to the world that apart from building and creating innovative products they are also capable of showing their genuine love to their valentines. While some of them don’t believe in love, others have crazy concepts on how to treat their Valentine.

In exclusive interviews with SiliconIndia when asked on their love and about a gift that they would want to give to their partner, which they have never done before, these entrepreneurs had some creatively candid responses.  Here is what they had to say about their love and special gifts to their loved ones.

“I would whole heartedly gift her the most unique holiday that she always wanted with a special candle light dinner on the beach,” said Gaurav Jain, founder and CEO of Mast Kalandar, a popular food startup that is revolutionizing the eating habits of Indians with clean and tidy outlets spread all over the country. While Gaurav stuck on to his style of gifting which is a little related to his startup genre there were other entrepreneurs who shared a different view.
