31st President of the United States
March 4, 1929 – March 4, 1933
Herbert Hoover was a very smart entrepreneur cum president. With a reputed degree in geology from the esteemed Stanford University, Herbert gathered all courage and resources to launch his own mine engineering business, in 1908. The company he started employed over 175,000 workers and it focused on finding investors, seeking new mining prospects and reorganizing failing companies.
Warren G. Harding
29th President of the United States
March 4, 1921 – August 2, 1923
It all happen in 1884 when Harding was 19, he along with several other partners purchased a newspaper in Ohio called The Marion Star, which was struggling for survival then. The business became an instant success with his wife, Florence helping him with the business operations.
16th President of the United States
March 4, 1861 – April 15, 1865
He is popularly known as the only American president to receive a patent. He invented a self made device to lift riverboats over sandbars. He was truly an inspiration to many as he was always considered to be a symbol of perseverance. He had his own general store and also ran a law practice institution. He was by far considered to be the greatest of all American presidents for successfully abolishing slavery.
