Infibeam is an e-commerce company headquartered in Ahmadabad. It started in 2007 offering online services like books, electronics and automobiles. It has offices in Ahmadabad, Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.  The company first started off as an automobile portal back in 2007 then stepped itself into online retailing.

Neeru Sharma, the co-founder and Director at Infibeam leads the corporate and business team. She has an engineering degree and a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. She has worked with Amazon, in the corporate development and media retail.  Prior to her MBA she has worked for 5 years with Alcatel as a project manager.

On founding a startup being easy or difficult for women entrepreneur Neeru said it really didn’t bother her and being a woman did not make things any simpler or difficult for her.

7. Moojic

Moojic is an interactive music player for restaurants, bars, pubs, salons and cafes cofounded by Neha Benani.  It lets the stores to create a custom branded in- store radio like experience based on  customers preferances. Within five months of starting it more than 250 stores have signed on for it with popular establishments like Mainland China, Oh! Calcutta, sigree and many more.

Benani was previously working with HP as a Product Marketing Manager at Singapore. She hails from 4th generation entrepreneurial family based in Bihar and the only women to start a venture.

Rajan Anandan , MD Google India, Moojic’s angel investor  has never seen Neha being deterrent to him and infact he is one of the pro active investors to invest in the tech companies started by or co founded by women.
