Local Banya.com is Mumbai’s first online supermarket which was set up in 2012 with an objective of making groceries available at the doorstep. It offers you variety of things from vegetables to kitchen ware and much more.

Rashi Choudhary is the cofounder of the company. She has worked with Ernst & Young and  most recently at Raymond Retail.  Her current role in the company has a direct impact on customer’s experience. She leads operations, logistics, manages customer service, data management, sourcing & pricing of products, quality check, web content and more. Every process from the customer placing an order till the time of delivery is her responsibility.

Choudhary on the  challenges she’s faced as a women entrepreneur  she says interactions and working relationships with some of her staff and getting the work done around men being in authoritative position was difficult sometimes.
