Bangalore: Indian startups have been highly successful in marking their presence in the global technology market. The recent acquisition of ‘Little Eye Labs’ a Bangalore based tech startup by Facebook clearly depicts the rising demand for Indian startups among the major players. India has already become a technology hotspot with a vast talent pool to be fished out from. Here is a list of the 7 Indian technological startups that were acquired by global players as compiled by Economic Times.

#1 Little Eye Labs

Little Eye Labs, a Bangalore based startup that builds analysis and monitoring tools for mobile apps has been acquired by Facebook in early January 2014 making it the first Indian acquisition by the social media giant. The firm founded in 2012 was rumoured to be bagged by Facebook for 93 crore. Little Eye Labs received its series of funding worth $9 million from venture capitalist firms including Accel Partners, AOL Ventures, Charles River Ventures and Highland Capital Partners. The acquisition of the analytics and monitoring tool developers is thought to be a part of Facebook’s strategy on focusing more on mobile devices which are more extensively used these days to get connected online.
