Bangalore: The life of a soldier and their family is certainly a challenging one. However it is highly   motivating and inspiring to see many startups dedicating themselves  to assist ex-service men and their family in finding a job, establishing themselves and in terms of medical assistance. While few startups help these warriors and their families to recover from loss and damage, there are few other entrepreneurs particularly from the military background who are toiling day and night to ensure soldiers lead a normal life post service.

Maintaining an established career was the biggest challenge faced by Swearengen as the wife of a military man. With a vision to help those in similar situation this 29 year old from south-Carolina founded ‘Military Spouse Portable Career Planning’ in 2010. She is a Master in adult education and her startup provides service in resume writing, critiques, interview tips and general assessment.
