He started his career in business by manufacturing motor-parts like handle bars, front forks etc and then founded the Hero Group which has grown to be world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. He was awarded with the Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the year award in 2001.

Karsambhai Patel

Organization:  Nirma Group

At the age of 21 he worked as a lab technician and later founded the Nirma Group which was concerned in selling detergent powder. For his achievements as an entrepreneur he was awarded with the honorary doctorate by the Florida Atlantic University. He also received the Udyog Ratna award by the FASII in 1990 and the Padma Shri award in 2010.

Walchand Hirachand Doshi

A true Indian industrialist, Walchand Hirachand Doshi was a successful railway contractor, who had an array of ideas for other businesses as well. Doshi established India’s first modern shipyard, aircraft factory and first car factory.
