Bangalore: Over the years, India has witnessed a tremendous rise in women entrepreneurs in different sectors. They have broken all possible myths, one of which is, that business run by women does not scale up.

Let us look at those 5 Women entrepreneurs, who had the  “never give up attitude”, and who  showed   great commitment towards their work, which in turn made their ventures super successful, as compiled by Economic Times.

#5 Richa Kar

She founded Zivame, an online portal for lingerie, which started in 2011. It raised its funding amount of 54 crore from IDG Ventures and Kalaari Capital in 2012.

 Zivame's Kar, 32, has dedicated herself to her venture and aims to reach greater levels.

 "I want to make Zivame a billion-dollar enterprise in the next five to seven years, When you are growing a business you cannot spend as much time with family and that is a choice I have made, I work 9 am to 9 pm, I don't do any housework as I have household help to take care of that, don't socialise, don't have time to interact with parents. I only work." says Kar
