#1 Maxx Mobile Founder: Ajay Aggarwal, 2004

Ajay Aggarwal started his journey on the business route at the age of 15 by helping his father in accounts in his electronic trading business. Setting up the Maxx Company in 2004 with the seed capital of 10 lakh was worth the risk.

At that time India as well as the world was viewing the popularity of the mobile phone market. In 2006, setting up a factory at Haridwar was crucial as from that factory the output was close to 1lakh mobile handsets per day. Later the Maxx Mobile associated themselves with the IPL and spent 12 crore on advertising. It also signed MS Dhoni as its brand ambassador and the IPL season got the Maxx Mobile the right attention and now the 550-employee Company is riding high on profits. The next plan for the Maxx Mobile is to manufacture Smartphones too in the near future. Maxx also exports its mobile phones and accessories to overseas countries like Hong Kong, Africa, SAARC, CIS and Middle East countries, where there is a huge demand for Maxx products.
