Day 3- Into the Wild in Periyar

Periyar is spreaded over an area of 925sq.km and is one of the 48 tiger reserve in India. On the third day, dig into the zealously guarded reserve and endangered flora and fauna. Often called as the Thekkady, the park lies in the middle of cardamom hills and is bounded by mountain ridges in the north and the east. The other prominent peaks within the park include: Pachayarmala, Vellimala, Sunderamala, Chokkampetti mala and Karimala.
