#Jimi Hendrix

Also known as the ‘God of Guitars’, Jimi Hendrix was a sensational guitarist and a songwriter for the Jimi Hendrix Experience & Band of Gypsys. His contribution to Psychedelic rock like’ HENDRIXPurple Haze’, ‘All along the watchtower and little wing’ reigned high in the 70’s.

Hendrix died on September 18, 1970 from an overdose of barbiturates in the form of sleeping pills that caused him to asphyxiate on his own vomit.

#Brian Jones

Multi-instrumentalist Lewis Brian Hopkins Jones was the founder and original bandleader of the Rolling Stones.

 A renowned figure of the 70’s, Jone the brains of the outfit with the song ‘We love you’, Paint it black and Ruby Tuesday’ Developed a serious drug problem over the years that ultimately led to his dismissal from the band. Less than a month later he was found dead in a pool, on July 3, 1969.

#Chris Bell

Solo musician and frontman Chris Bell was part of the well established band Big Star. Popular songs like ‘You and your sister,The balled of El Goodo and ,better save yourself ‘ were some amongst many to hit the charts in the 70’s.

 The musician died on the impact of a car crash on December 27, 1978, when he lost control of his car.
