As of the now, the S-Cross will be offered in two diesel options – a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 and other being the powerful 1.6-litre DDiS 320 engine both transmissions mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed manual gearbox respectively. Overall the company will be offering the all-new S-Cross in eight different variants that are categorized under two models namely DDiS 200 and DDiS 320.
Whereas the Hyundai Creta which is scheduled for July 21, 2015 launch, will be powered by 1.6-litre petrol and diesel motors for now, with the possibility of a 1.4-litre diesel variant being offered some time later. The Creta will be launched in a total of four trim levels - Base, S, SX and SX (Optional).
The Ford EcoSport has a long list of variants offered with a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel trims but its award winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine still stands out among the above upcoming models and is also the most powerful of the lot in this segment.
