Yamaha R3 Lauched At 3.25 Lakh: Here's All The Details


BANGALORE: Yamaha the Japanese race bike maker following the similar steps as their Japanese rival Kawasaki. Yamaha launches ‘R3’ at Buddh International Circuit and it will compete against the Kawasaki Ninja in the country, reports OnCars.

Design

The design of new R3 is slightly identical to the Moto-GP motorcycle, YZR-M1. The front twin eagle eye headlights upholds the sporty look and the back LED tail light derived from R6 makes R3 a stunner. The R3 nicely portrays the Yamaha’s R family with its edgy, sharp and sporty looks. The novel bike will come in three colour options such as Red, Blue and Black.

Engine  

As the name suggests, the Yamaha R3 is equipped with 321cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which can exert a power of 37 bhp and 26.5 Nm of torque. The 321cc twin-cylinder motor comes with 6-speed transmission for the proper differential of speed. The bike is fitted with best in class disc brakes, the front tire with 298mm and rear wheel is equipped with 220mm disc brakes.

Price

According to recent reports, Yamaha R3 is priced at 3,25,000. With powerful engine at this price it is evident that the R3 will bring a storm among its rivals Honda CBR 250R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and KTM RC390.
