Volkswagen Launches Polo & Vento Exquisite in India


BENGALURU: The German car maker Volkswagen is facing difficult times in wake of emissions scandal all over the world and to add to that, the recent handbrake issue with the Polo’s in India have further dented its name. But with all that said, the car maker is in no mood to lose out on festive sales in the country as it has gone ahead and launched the Polo and Vento Exquisites with exclusive cosmetic changes, reports TheCake.

Starting with the Polo Exquisite, on the outside the car now comes with black matte finished roof, carbon-finish ORVMS, body-coloured side mouldings and a chrome strip on the boot door. On the inside, the car gets carbon fibre finished centre console, seat covers, exclusive Polo scuff plates, floor mats and detachable rear window blinds. All these cosmetic changes will come at a additional price tag of 12,830 (excluding taxes) over the Highline trim and is available through all Volkswagen dealerships in India.

Meanwhile, besides the above, the Vento will also now feature a Blaupunkt Touchscreen Navigation and Multimedia System with Carbon Fibre Finish Centre Console, which is now called as Vento Highline Plus.

The limited edition cars will be available be offered on the Polo 1.2 Highline Petrol and 1.5 Diesel variants as well as with the Highline trim of the Vento 1.6 Petrol and 1.5 Diesel. Furthermore, the cars feature no mechanical upgrades.
