Volkswagen Beetle Now Up for Pre-order in India at 1 lakh


BENGALURU: Volkswagen, the German car maker and also a global leader in the industry is all set to unveil the new version of its international model in India, amid the controversy of corrupt software in its diesel cars internationally.

Beetle, one among global models of the Volkswagen is upgraded and will soon hit the Indian markets. The Pre launch booking is open from 17th of this month and as per the reports of the ET Auto, minimum booking price for the car is about one lakh.

The car is available in four body color options Habanero Orange, Oryx White, Tornado Red, and Blue Silk.

The car is equipped with a 1.4l TSI (150 PS) petrol engine affixed to a 7-speed DSG gear box. The safety measures have received a greater concentration from the company and hence the car comes with 6-airbags, ESP & ABS as standard.

The all new Beetle also has its exteriors and the interiors largely revamped and it is enriched with the stunning traits like a panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon headlamps, leather interiors and chrome packages for both interior & exterior.

However, the pre launch booking can be done either through the Volkswagen official outlets across India or through the Volkswagen India website.
