Triumph India Posts Record Sales, Launches EMI Plan For Bonneville


BANGALORE: Triumph Motorcycles, a three decade old British premium motorcycle builders entered Indian market with many bikes in store, two years ago. The company initially began as ‘Bonneville Coventry Limited’ and made news around the world for its best performance bikes. Now the company tries to conquer the Indian soil with exciting offers as there is a neck to neck competition from its Japanese adversaries, reports OverDrive.

The Triumph Motorcycles India recently claimed that they acquired more than 1,600 customers in just 18 months.  Now, the company has come up with an offer joining hands with HDFC bank. The iconic 865cc Bonneville can be bought by just paying 2,35,000.

The rest could be paid on the EMI basis of 9,990 per month for five years. This particular offer figures are only applicable at the Delhi Showrooms. However, there will similar offer in other states but with different pricing.

The motorcycle Bonneville is powered by a parallel twin engine that exerts a power of 61PS and 61Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with a five speed gearbox. The Bonneville retails at RS.5.99 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.

Triumph Motorcycles India features superbikes for five different segments. The Speed Triple, Street Triple, Daytona 675 and the Rocket III Roadster are the bikes available in Indian showrooms from the company.
