This Dussehra, Let's Kill the Ravana Residing Inside Us


BENGALURU: Regarded as an auspicious day for “Victory of Good over Evil”, we burn Ravana’s enormous dummies and puff up the victory of Ram, every year. However, we ignore to accept that still there are parts of Ravana still, exists in us or any individual. Let’s see what they are and how to get rid of it:

Lust – Rape

Crimes don’t seek ages of a man or woman but the hideous motive behind it. From working places to lone streets, no person seems to be safe from this Ravana Lust which is somewhere a reason for rapes taking place in our country. Did lighting candle and vigil march at India Gate helped us getting rid of these menaces? Clearly No!

Anybody can be a victim of the undesired and unnatural act of rape, especially women. Not everyone is expected but at least those, who all are aware and educated, need to stand for ensuring the safety of a person. Let’s take this stance this Dussehra to try our best to curb such incidents and help those in need!
