Day 1- The endless beauty of Munnar

Munnar, as the name suggests (in Malayalam) is the land of three rivers where the Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers meet. The hill station is located in the Idukki district of Kerala. Munnar town is situated at around 1,600 meters above the sea level amidst the Western Ghats range of Mountains.  What to do in Munnar? Visit places like kurinjimala Sanctuary to the east, the Chinnar wildlife Sanctuary, Manjampatty valley and the Amaravati reserve forest and the Palani hills national park to the east. The town situated in the Kannan Devan Hills, covers an area of nearly 557 square kilometers.
