New Ford Endeavour Launched: All the Details

BANGALORE: The all new avatar of the Ford Endeavour has been rolled out in India, which means the battle of premium SUVs is set to get even hotter. With the visual aura of an American SUV the car is a perfect start for 2016 for Ford India, as the all new Endeavour marks the third launch for the company in 2015-16 after Figo Aspire and Figo hatchbackreports ET.

Engine and Gearbox Specifications:

The refreshed third-gen Endeavour is powered by  2.2litre and 3.2litre TDCi Turbo Diesel engines. The 2.2litre four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine churns out 160bhp and 385Nm of torque coupled to a manual and automatic transmission. The higher spec 3.2 Endeavour on the other hand develops 197bhp and 470Nm of torque.

The new variant will be offered in either a two-wheel or a four-wheel drive option, along with a six-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The 80-litre fuel tank of the 2.2-litre and the 3.2-litre engines offer a mileage of 14.12km/l and 10.91km/l respectively.
