New Audi Q7 to Launch in India on Dec 10

BENGALURU: Audi is all set to launch the new luxury SUV Audi Q7 on December 10 in India. The car is expected to come with more updated tech and promises to give a higher performance, reports Rushlane.

The Audi Q7 is lighter by up to 300 kg, which holds the key to all the powerful dynamics, performance, fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions. This huge decrease in weight is because of the multi material MLB rear wheel drive architecture. This makes the body of the car much lighter when compared to its predecessor.

The car features a luxurious 7-seater with cool finishing edges. It has the hexagonal single frame chrome grille, sleek LED headlamps, LED taillights and much more design aspects that sure can attract the customers. In total the car is less bulky and has a neat look from both inside and outside.

Interior is vastly different from what the outgoing model offers. The modern layout sports dual-tone color theme and the AC vents are neatly camouflaged within the dashboard trim. The higher variants offer the Audi Virtual Cockpit configurable instrument console display.

The new Audi Q7 coming to India will be powered by a 3.0-litre TDI diesel engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters having quattro AWD system as its standard. It gives 268 bhp of power and 600 Nm of torque. The cars will be manufactured at the company’s Aurangabad facility, which is likely to commence in 2016.
