4. BMW 7-Series Hybrid

One more launch, adding to the lucrative month July is the BMW 7-Series Active Hybrid on 23rd July. The Active Hybrid version is powered by 3-liter, in-line six cylinder engine that generates a power output of 320 hp and a peak torque of 450 Nm.

The monster car holds the capacity to reach 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds with a satisfactory mileage of 14.7 kmpl, making it an overall whack of an electronically limited 250 kmph.

When combined with the hybrid motor, the beast achieves a fuel economy to around 15 kmpl. It has an excellent feature of display on the instrument cluster showing the real-time efficiency and operating status of the car components.

Now comes the big part, the price! With the list of splendid features the price of the giant Active Hybrid will start from 1.65 crore.

5. Porsche Macan

The all-new Porsche Macan, a Q5-sized SUV is all set to create a solid buzz in Indian markets in the end of July month.  Named after the Indonesian word for ‘tiger’, Macan is the second utility vehicle launched by Porsche. 

Powered by a 3 liter V6 turbo-diesel engine, adequate enough for 258 bhp and 580 nm on its base variant and exclusive 7 speed twin clutch automatic gearbox will be available with engine.

The Macan is expected to land in India at a price of 60-70 lacs, pretty high? Remember it’s not a practical compact car anyway.
