Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S to Launch in India on November 24

BANGALORE: Mercedes Benz India has scheduled to release their most-awaited sports car on the Indian streets. The Mercedes Benz AMG GT S, a replacement to renowned Mercedes Benz SLS AMG will hit country’s showrooms on November 24, reports IndiaToday.

The Merc AMG GT S is the second car that is produced with the collaboration of Mercedes and AMG. The new GT S comes equipped with a 4.0-liter Bi-Turbo engine, which exerts the maximum power of 462hp and 600Nm of torque. The car features a 7G-DCT automatic transmission to glide through the roads in speed.

This novel Mercedes reaches from 0-100km/hr in just 3.8 seconds and it has a top speed of 310km/hr. The Indian version of GT S will offer only RWD that is bit of a disappointment to the Indian fans.

In Indian market, the competition for this marvelous Mercedes Benz AMG GT S will be Maserati GranTurismo, Audi R8 and the Porsche 911.

By the looks and luxurious image of the new Mercedes Benz AMG GT S, the expected price starts from 2.3 Crore to 3.5 Crore (ex showroom Delhi).
