Mercedes Launches AMG C63 S In India At 1.30 Cr


sdBENGALURU: Mercedes Benz launched its C 63 S at Rs 1.30 crore, ex-showroom, Delhi. This is the German carmakers third C-Class AMG variant in the country with the other two being the  C 200 petrol and C 220 CDI. The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S is the 11th model in the brand’s '15 in 15' product strategy for the year, according to autocarindia.com.

Also powering the performance-oriented C-Class AMG C 63 S is a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine which is mated to a 7-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox. This engine churns out a whopping 503bhp and 714Nm of peak torque. This makes the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S more powerful than the AMG C 63 that produces 469bhp. The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S is the 10th AMG model in India.

The AMG C 63 S tips the speed scales from 0-100kph sprint time of around 4 seconds topping out at 250kph which is electronically limited. C 63 S also gets AMG body kit that makes this already gorgeous-looking car even more appealing to the eyes. The C 63 S gets exterior changes like quad exhausts, AMG grille, engine mounts with the AMG lettering, LED headlamps, 19-inch AMG alloys and side sill panels.

The interiors too are much pleasing as the exteriors. Features like carbon fiber trim, performance steering wheel, heads-up display and Burmester surround system are of a few to talk about.
