Maruti To Release Three New Models Under 'Nexa' Dealership

BENGALURU: India’s own car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, will sell its premium hatchback code named YRA, Ciaz, and S-Cross at its Nexa dealerships, reports Live Mint.

Ciaz is an already running sedan in the Indian market whereas S-Cross will be launched on August 5. It will give tough competition to Hyundai’s Creta and the Maruti’s YRA to be launched later by this year. The YRA is going to be a rival to Hyundai’s Elite i20 as well.

Maruti’s recent attempts failed badly and it was forced to sell SUV Grand Vitara and the premium sedan Kizashi for discounts up to 5 lakh.

Maruti plans to sell two million cars annually by 2020 through the Nexa project. It is also planning to increase their Nexa outlets to 100 within a year. As of now, Maruti is having 3,086 sales outlets in 1,471 cities.
