Maruti Ignis and Baleno RS to make its Debut in Festive Season

BENGALURU: Maruti Suzuki announced its concept Ignis along with a revamped Baleno RS model at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. Both the models will be launched during the festival season of 2016. The car maker also displayed the performance of both the models at this year automobile exhibition.

The latest models of Maruti Suzuki are built on the next generation platform that makes it lighter and more rigid than the conventional platforms. It enables vehicle safety, fuel efficiency and smooth and superior driving performance.

Maruti has also unveiled the Baleno 1.0-litre variant with advanced Boosterjet direct injection turbo petrol engine and added to this it also delivers amazing power, torque and speed. Turbo petrol engine is capable of producing 110bhp of power along with 160Nm of torque. 

Maruti along with the two dynamically appealed variants has also introduced the new S-Cross limited edition car that comes with fully loaded new features like chrome back door garnish, rear spoiler in black paint finish. It includes sporty pedal pad, ORVM garnish in matt black finish, footwell lamp with blue ambient light and an interior styling kit. It will be exclusively available in the NEXA premium showrooms.

Both the production models are very similar to iM-4 concept that was launched at the Geneva motor show 2015. The vehicle shares Suzuki's new generation platform with Baleno premium hatchback.
