Man To Live Another Man's Life For 4 Weeks

BENGALURU: Movies like Interstellar and Inception seem to have been inspired by experiments conducted by curious scientists. Here it is Mark Farid, a man from London, who has  to live the life of another person for 28 days,  as reported by India Times. Live Another Man's LifeThis is part of an experiment which hopes will give him insight into the nature of human existence. Experts have called this experiment `extremely disturbing'.

Disregarding experts view on the experiment, Mark Farid is set to recruit an `avatar' or ‘other', who will video his whole life for 28 days, and watch all of that video through an Oculus Rift.

Nature or Nurture- Is what triggered the whole experiment. Farid hopes that the experiment will allow him some insight into the debate over whether it is nature or nurture that causes a person to be how they are. He is curious to see whether he will start thinking like them, too.

One might wonder why exactly 28-day period to experiment. Here is why.  It is chosen because of a common idea that new habits take 21 days to get used to. This is not the first time that Farid tried to seek information about brain. In 2014, Farid ran a 24-hour test-run of the project, called ' Alone Together', at the Arebyte Gallery in London.
