Mahindra Mojo Launched In India at 1.58 Lakh

 BANGALORE: It’s been over five years after Mahindra first revealed the Mojo, after all this time the company has finally released the motorcycle in India. Introduced as the first sports tourer in india, the price range of Mahindra Mojo is expected to start from INR 1.58 lakh. This price tag will last for all bookings made before Diwali 2015, after which the price is said to raise, reports Rushlane.

As per the launching, in the first phase the Mahindra Mojo will be presented in four cites namely—New Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Mumbai. These four cites will hold a total of 10 Mahindra Two Wheelers dealerships in sales and services of the latest Mojo. Several more deals with be made and will include more cities in the following days.

To enhance the overall experience of Mojo buyers, Mahindra has developed the MOJO Zone a shop-in-shop conception withholding the prospects of consumer segment. A club has also risen in light of Mojo owners across India bearing the name the Mojo Tribe. On a regular basis, the club will hold rides and activities (called ‘Trails of MOJO TRIBE’) for its enthusiastic Mojo. The first of its kind when it comes to consumer trails will kick start on 17th October at Bengaluru.

Executive Director, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Dr Pawan Goenka said, “MOJO has been developed in-house, with inputs from global partners and is designed to be on par with global products in this class. It leverages deep consumer insights to serve many distinct needs of passionate biking enthusiasts. Testimony to this is the fact that we already have 100 invite based pre-bookings for the MOJO.”

 People who have already made their bookings will start receiving their deliveries today onwards. Furthermore, those who wish to make a booking of the new Mojo and are not from the four above mentioned cities, can make their bookings through the online website www.mahindramojo.com which is accessible from 16th of this month. The Mahindra Mojo will be available in three color options. This includes Charcoal Black, Glacier White and Volcano Red. Mahindra Mojo is fitted with a single cylinder 295cc liquid cooled 4 stroke engine which churns out about 27 bhp and 30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
