Wagah Border

Wagah is a village i.e. 32 km away from Amritsar and lies on GT road between Amritsar and Lahore. Every evening there is a flag lowering ceremony organized by both Indian and Pakistan armed force soldiers. This ceremony runs for 40 to 45 minutes and displays brotherhood and cooperation between both nations. Soldiers start the ceremony with a blistering parade and end it with a perfectly coordinated lowering of national flags. Thousands of local and international tourists across the border visit Wagah- to be a part of this amazing ceremony that is full of patriotism and life.
