BENGALURU:  As a person walks through the urban lanes of India, one cannot deny, the life led by Indian’s richest entrepreneurs. The extravagant lifestyle of the business tycoons is an undoubted reality. However, one has to go through hard work to attain success, and this is very true for the kids born with silver spoon too. Akash and Isha Ambani, children of Mukesh Ambani

Akash Ambani, and his twin sister Isha, had become the directors on board of Reliance Industries’ telecom and retail ventures in 2014 at the age of 24. Akash and Isha have carried their father’s legacy forward with hard work and were appointed to the board the same age as their father, who was 24 when he joined RIL.

Aditya Mittal, son of Lakshmi Mittal: CFO of ArcelorMittal

Aditya Mittal joined the company in the year 1997. He displayed great business acumen like that of his father and soon climbed up the ladder.  

Vanisha Mittal, daughter of Lakshmi Mittal : Director of LNM Holdings

Vanisha studied in the University of London, she has been the director of LNM Holdings, the holding company of the Mittal Group, since 2004. inc004.

Rishad Premji, son of Azim Premji: Chief Strategy Officer and Member of the Board, Wipro

Though he was not given extra privileges, Rishad has gained the reputation of a hard working individual. It is a very little known fact that Rishad though born with silver spoon had to earn his reputation through humble start. Rishad attended interview at Wipro, just like a commoner and began his career with the designation of a manager in the business of banking, financial services and insurance.

Aalok Shanghvi, son of Dilip Shanghvi: Senior General Manager in International Marketing for Sun Pharmaceuticals

The 27 year old Aalok not only works at Sun Pharma but has established a company called PV Powertech which is a solar panel making company. Aalok is a hard working person.

Cyrus Pallonji Mistry, son of Pallonji Mistry: Chairman of Tata Group

Cyrus started working at the company after his father retirement. Pallonji is the largest shareholder in the Tata Company. Cyrus was appointed Chairman of the Tata Group in 2012.

Smiti Ruia, daughter of Ravi Ruia: Launched Paprika Media

Smiti is the daughter of Ravi Ruia, who is the Vice-Chairman of the Essar Group. Paprika Media was Essar Group's foray into the Publishing industry through a Mumbai based innovative publishing house.

Kavin Bharti Mittal, son of Sunil Mittal: CEO and developer of Hike Messenger

Kavin Mittal is the brain behind Hike Messenger, which is a homegrown free messaging application that has more than 35 million users at the moment. He followed his heart and carved a niche for himself.

Karan Adani, son of Gautam Adani: Executive Director, Ports, Adani Group

After graduating with an economics degree from Purdue, Karan Adani joined Adani Group in 2009 after he graduated with an economics degree from Purdue. He now looks after the strategic development of all Adani ports in India.

Ananyashree Birla, daughter of Kumar Mangalam Birla : Runs Svatantra Microfin Pvt.

Instead of joining the Birla Group, Ananyashree carved her own path and followed her route to become a social entrepreneur. The 21 year old started Svatantra Microfin Pvt. two years ago. This small venture of hers lends small loans to the rural poor to start small enterprises, and is backed by her billionaire father.
