BENGALURU: Having ruled the fashion industry for decades now, Chanel’s Head Designer Karl Lagerfeld is now taking his style quotients to new heights. As reported by Forbes, Karl teamed up with Monster Audio to release luxury headphones that feature Chanel’s signature quilted leather aesthetic and its iconic logo with Beats by Dre as the sound engineers.

Its Beats by Dre Technology clubbed with Chanel, making the headphones cost as much as $5000—Yes you heard it right, it’s around 3,10,000. Well it is a ‘designer piece’ and hence the price. There are many small cars in the market which are available at that range. But the quality of the headphones, in and out is said to be exceptional.

This eye-watering luxury accessory will hit the market in mid-September and this $5000 gear is sold in Chanel boutiques.

With Chanel’s magnificent iconic style, these luxury headphones feature the couture brand's signature quilting with a Double C monogram and a matching carry case. Monster that comes in trendy quilted leather is said to be on every fashonista’s list, leaving aside the cost factor and affordability.

The device first debuted in Autumn Winter 2014 catwalk in Paris early this year. This could be the most prized possession of the year 2014.
