Car of the Week: Range Rover Evoque

Bangalore: The iconic British marquee Jaguar Land Rover launched its popular Range Rover Evoque. The premium SUV is available in four versions including three in diesel and one in petrol, and is priced upwards of 44.75 lakh. "The Range Rover Evoque is a very important addition to the Land Rover and Range Rover portfolio. This car has excited audiences across the world and we expect the same from the discerning customers here," says Tata Motors Managing Firector PM Telang.

Engine & Performance

It is packed by 4 in-line cylinder engines placed crossways that have 4 valves per cylinder. The 2.2 litre turbo diesel delivers excellent torque, reactive performance and extraordinary enhancement. The four wheel drive of Evoque is powered by the SD4 engine with 2179cc dislocation that provides a maximum of 190 bhp of power at 3500 rpm and generates a torque of 420 Nm at 1750 rpm.
