Car Of The Week: New Mercedes Benz E Class

Bangalore: German luxury car maker Mercedes Benz has recently shifted its product portfolio in India to top gear, launching several models at short intervals. After the B Class, the whole new A Class and the E Class, the company on last week had launched the AMG version of E Class, Benz E63 AMG.

Mercedes Benz is expecting India among its top ten global markets by 2020, as it continues to bring latest models and spread sales network. The company is looking to reduce the time gap between global showcase of a new model and its launch in India as part of its aggressive business strategy.

According to Mercedes Benz India Managing Director and CEO Eberhard Kern, "The new E Class is yet another example of our efforts to bring the latest global product in India at the shortest possible time. It was showcased globally in January at Detroit auto show and commercially launched in Europe in March and in June it is in India."
