Audi to Roll Out A6 Facelift in India on Aug 20


BANGALORE: German automobile manufacturer, Audi, is all set for its first all-digital launch of the 2015 Audi A6 facelift in India on August 20. Last October, the company had revealed the vehicle officially at Paris Motor Show. The car has undergone interior and exterior changes; however, no mechanical upgrades are done. Costlier than the likes of BMW 5-Series, the Mercedes Benz E Class and Jaguar XF, 2015 Audi A6 facelift is being awaited by buyers after the teaser images of the Matrix headlights got released on social media, reports ET.

Matrix LED headlamps are the most awaited and biggest change in the facelift that are presently available on the A8, and RS6 Avant. At the back, the taillights gets the split LED design and addition of a sleek strip of chrome on the rim of the boot lid, further draws attention to the lavish new A6. Apart from this, the updated A6 will also get Dynamic Turn indicators, a refreshed single-frame grille and new bumpers.

The interior of the new luxurious Audi A6 gets a set of new materials, dashboard and fine trim options. 2015 Audi A6’s MMI touch interface will be more intuitive with more powerful Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip. Large 8-inch display and a revamped navigation system will be offered on higher variants.

The updated A6 sedan will continue to feature the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TFSI and TDI engines mated to Audi’s multitronic CVT gearbox, sending power to the front wheel of the vehicle.

Depending on the variants available, the new 2015 Audi A6 facelift will be available in the price range of 44 lakh - 54 lakh (ex-showroom).
