All-New Toyota Innova Crysta Launched At 13.8 Lakh


BENGALURU: Toyota’s Innova is undoubtedly one of the hottest selling MPVs in the market and has been around for quite a while now. So, here is the all-new Toyota’s Innova Crysta showing off its dashing looks and features on board launched with a price tag of 13.8 lakh, reports TOI.

First showcased at the Auto Expo 2016, the Innova gets a refreshed hexagonal grille on the front that houses trendy projector lamps. The MPV is longer by 150mm and 35mm in height and has no changes on the wheelbase.

On the specifications front, the Innova Crysta comes with two diesel engine options—2.4 litre and 2.8 litre. A 5-speed manual transmission is mated to the 2.4 litre engine, which belts out about 149 Bhp of power. On the other hand, the 2.8-litre churns out about 174 Bhp of power with a 6-speed automatic gearbox on board.

As far as the features are concerned, the top-end MPV is loaded with smart entry system with start/stop switch, automatic climate control system, and 7-inch touch screen audio system. On the safety front the Innova Crysta is fitted with Anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA) and many more. On the exterior, the MPV gets LED headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels.

However, the Innova Crysta competes with the Mahindra XUV 500, Honda BR-V, and Renault Lodgy and according to The Economic Times, the MPV will be available in 10 variants.
