All New Toyota 'Fortuner' To Roll Out In 2016

BENGALURU: Toyota Fortuner’s first model started serving its customers in India from 2009. This heavy and rugged looking car became a promising automobile to any car lover. Recently, rumors started to surface about the new model Fortuner, reports NDTV Auto.

The leaked pictures suggest that this multipurpose car will come out in a sleek look. Its front will have lot of chrome work and rear with LED tail lamps. Sides of the car reveal big rims and designer turn indicators.

The car appears to be a mix of the Hilux pick-up and Innova. There are plans to improve the interiors and increase the space inside the car in the 2016 Fortuner.

When it comes to the engine it will be equipped with the new GD Series of engines. Two engines that are 2.4-litre (148 bhp) and 2.8-litre (175 bhp) turbo-diesel will replace the older versions.

This all new Fortuner will be unveiled this month in Thailand. Expected price would be between 22 lakh to 25 lakh.
