Jawahar Tunnel

With a length of 2.5 km and situated in Jammu and Kashmir, this tunnel is named after the Prime Minster Jawaharlal Nehru. It is one of the longest road tunnels in North India.  Locals refer to it as the Banihal tunnel. It has recently been upgraded to include world class facilities like Closed Caption Televisions (CCTVs), railway motion sensors, and advanced lighting systems. It is guarded by military round-the-clock, photography or videography inside or nearby the tunnel is strictly prohibited. It is open all 24 hours of the day and was initially designed for 150 vehicles per day in each direction but the number of vehicles has now increased to 7,000 in both directions. The tunnel is one of the few roads that offers round-the-year connectivity from Srinangar to Jammu and Kashmir.

Karbude Tunnel

At 6.5 km, this tunnel is located on the picturesque Konkan Coast along the Arabian Sea. The Karbude tunnel is the second longest railway tunnel in India and allows you to experience the Konkan Coast from a different perspective. It is part of the Konkan railway system that consists of nearly 92 tunnels in the entire section.

Kamshet Tunnel

With a length of nearly two kilometers, the Kamshet road tunnel along the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is the longest tunnel in the state of Maharashtra and is one of the best rides along the Mumbai Expressway. The tunnel is vast, with two tubes and three lanes for commuters. The route passes through the historic towns of Khandala and Lonavala.
