# Celerio with 800cc, Twin Cylinder Diesel Engine

The Celerio was the first car to bring in the automated manual transmission creating a revolution with it. The car is expected to bring in a twin cylinder, 792cc turbocharged diesel motor which was originally developed for the Y9T code-named light pick up truck.

The high light here is its fuel efficiency at 30 Kmpl and the diesel Celerio promises to be the most fuel efficient car in India. This new engine will be the smallest diesel motor in the country besides the one on the Chevrolet beat. The Celerio diesel will be the cheapest diesel offering from Maruti Suzuki.

# Low Cost Hybrid Technology For The Swift Hatchback

Apparently, a low cost hybrid technology from Suzuki is on the works for budget hatchbacks. The year 2017 is expected to receive this fuel saving technology which also cleans up the tail pipe emissions. In the future, India could also become a source for hybrid car manufacturing and Suzuki plans to use the country as a source hub and the government is offering some lucrative subsidies too.
