Tata’s Nano repositioning in the market will reach its heights with the code-named hatchback called the Pelican. Based on a modified Nano platform, the car will retain the rear wheel drive-rear engine architecture powered by a larger petrol and turbo diesel engines.

The Pelican is expected to make its Indian debut the next year and is expected to be priced within 3 lakh rupees. The Pelican will position between the Nano Twist and the Kite hatchbacks.

Renault XBA # Renault A-Entry/XBA

Renault this year is getting a list of cars ready for the Indian market, this year we will see the company launching the XBA/A-Entry codenamed hatchback. The hatch uses uses an 800cc-3 cylinder petrol engine developed by the Renault-Nissan technical Center at Chennai. This Renault car is CMF-A platform based will be made locally and could also feature an automated manual transmission.
