Kedarnath:

Kedarnath is one of the most sought after pilgrimage by Hindu community in India; Lord Shiva is worshiped in this holy place as Kedarnath. However this shrine is open only six months in a year, which is at an altitude of 11,750ft above the sea level. Gowrikund is the place where the road ends, from here it takes about 14 km of trek to reach the temple.
