5 Breathtaking Cars Coming Our Way In August

BANGALORE: With the car buyers seeing good amount of launches from the past few months to this year, looks like there are lot more exciting cars adding to that list with amazing updates on them and good engines. Here are some cars as compiled by the Rediff hitting the streets by the next month. So read on to find out more about them.

# BMW X3

First of all let’s start off with something big like this SUV from BMW. The new face lifted X3 is all gearing up to be launched sometime in August sharing resemblance to the new X5. Compared to the older version of the SUV, the refreshed X3 gets a larger sized headlamp with Optional LEDs, with noticeable grille updates with some design changes on the bumpers and gets 17-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, it gets all new leather upholstery, a jet black centre console with climate control air conditioning and cruise control.

Under the hood, the X3 is driven by a 2 litre, four-cylinder diesel engine which belts out 187 BHP on the Xdrive ‘4x4’ version and the standard rear wheel on the SDrive produces around 147BHP. The engine is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox or a six speed manual one. The SUV is likely to be priced around 43 to 55 lakh and faces competition from strong players like Audi Q5, Mercedes ML class and Volvo XC90.
