BANGALORE: Superstition is an irrational belief arising from ignorance or fear. Our Indian cricket and superstition are also going on together since long time. Though, the Indian cricket team has highest run scorer, fastest opening batsman, king and a cool captain, all of them do take advice from their numerologists or astrologists in the hope of success. Here is the list of five cricketers and their superstitions as compiled by Urban Cocktail.

1. Virat Kohli

The promising Indian batsman Virat Kohli admits this superstitious in his statement to Kolkata Telegraph. He said "Earlier, I used to wear the same pair of gloves with which I'd been scoring," "That phase has gone as now I look for comfort. Now the superstition revolves around wearing black wristbands."
