Osama Bin Laden:
Osama was the person who founded al Qaeda, the jihadist organization. He was the mastermind behind the September 11 attacks on the U.S., along with several other attacks against civilian and military targets. He was a part of the affluent Saudi bin Laden family.

He was on the FBI’s list of ‘Ten Most Wanted Fugitive’ and ‘Most Wanted Terrorists’ for his involvement in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings.  He was a major target of the War on Terror from 2001 to 2011, with a $25 million bounty by the FBI. On May 2, 2011, Laden was shot and killed in Pakistan, by members of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group and Central Intelligence Agency operatives in a secret operation ordered by the U.S. President Barack Obama.
