Swami Vivekananda Continues to Inspire the Youth of India


Bangalore: Swami Vivekananda spent his entire life uplifting mankind, attaining perfection and personifying the power of will. He was a devotional man who chose his unique path in life after being enlightened by his guru RamaKrishna in 1818. After his training under Ramakrishna, he went on his path imparting his wisdom and teachings to the inquisitives in India and the world alike. Most importantly Swami Vivekananda has been a role model or an icon for the many youth of the country who seek wisdom and empowerment in his words. Even though he has been largely adored by the youth, he is much admired by men and women of all ages in the country and the world.  

Swami Vivekananda is well remembered donning his saffron attire signifying renunciation or detachment from materialistic pursuits. The nuggets of wisdom that he possessed for every aspect of life are uplifting. For the youth in the country his words are a constant dose of courage and solidity to attain the goals they have set.

He believed in a constant process of personal development, growing without knowledge seemed incomplete to him and it can only be attained by oneself. On this note he said. “You have to grow from the inside out. There is no other teacher but your own soul.”
