Sub Inspector Tina Shukla: An inspiration For All Girls in India

BENGALURU: Tina Shukla from Madhya Pradesh stands as an inspiration to the country wherein nearly 45 percent of girls get married under the age of 18 and 65 percent of adolescent girls drop out of the school. The Indian population still believes that a girl child could be a burden on the poor families; probably evil practices like dowry and child marriage still kept us in the Dark Age, reports news 18.

Despite being a daughter of a tea seller, Tina Shukla is a Sub Inspector of State Police in Madhya Pradesh today, after seven years of journey pursuing the dream. Tina says she took inspiration from her maternal uncles who serve the Indian Police and Indian army. In initial years she cleared many competitive exams but failed to pass through the interview stages. On reflecting upon her success she thanks her family for all the support even during the most difficult situations. Her persistent efforts along with enduring hardwork have brought to the place where she stands today.

Ramniwas Shukla, father of Tina Shukla, was on cloud-nine as he says that he feels honored when people in police control room discuss about his daughter’s achievement. He could be more proud of his daughter when he heard people in police department and at tea stall accolade his daughter's success and hard work. Shukla added that his daughter should be an example to those women who have bigger longings and want to make them true in their lives.
