This year with his retirement from ODIs, Sachin has created a wave for people to recall his best performances and achievement as the cricket superstar that he surely is. Australia vs India Coca Cola Cup, 1998
In the match played on the 22nd April 1998 at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium between India and Australia, Australia set the target of 285. Even though India lost, one man stood out in the Indian cricket team and gave the audience a match to indulge. Sachin Tendulkar’s brilliant performance impressed the many hearts which were in sync with the match. Sachin opened with a six of Michael Kasprowicz’s bowling. Even with his hard efforts Sachin scored 143 before his wicket fell. India lost the match by 25 runs, but Sachin’s drive was duly noted. 

Sachin at Centurion, 2003 World Cup
In the 2003 World Cup matches, India maintained the winning streak against Pakistan cricket team. Pakistan set the target of 274 for India. Pakistan was set with its team of dynamic bowlers, comprising Waqar Younis, Abdul Razzaq, Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram and Shahid Afridi. Even then India put a good show, with Sachin Tendulkar striking sixes of Shoaib Akhtar bowling. The little master scored 98 out of 75 balls before his wicket fell.
