One Year of Modi Govt: Promises Vs Delivery

BENGALURU: There probably isn’t anyone who had an eventful year as Narendra Modi in 2014-2015. Modi successfully founded a brand name of his own in India and world over within this one year. He is listed among the most powerful leaders in the world and he is the most followed on twitter.

On a much serious note it is time for people to submit Modi’s report card. Were his reforms effective or were they too slow? It is up to the people to decide. However on a larger picture her are the promises made by Modi. Now, has he fulfilled them all?

Promise: Tackle Price Rise

Delivery: On one hand the sharp falling global crude oil prices facilitated a dip in prices. On the other hand the Modi government’s efforts to tame the inflation and improved supplies complemented with the dip in prices.
